In the city of Adenau the former racing-driver hotel "Eifeler Hof" is located right in the town-center.
The hotel, which was built in 1897, is known as having been the venue of the foundation conference of the
world famous racing track Nordschleife. Almost every famous racing driver from the early 20's up to late
1970's took a residence in this house.
In 2001 the Hotel was undertaken a reconstruction into a living- and commercial house.
